4/4 E. Martin Early 1900s Strad Copy
This is a great to excellent condition instrument from somewhere in the range of 1809-1930. By some inspection we are placing it in the later portion of that range likely the 1920-1930s because of the cut, condition, and attributes. We have replaced the bridge, tailpiece, chin rest, and strings on this as well as gave it some minor adjustments. It has several small stratches and dings on the top and back but is in great playing condition. This is a factory instrument from Germany that was made in the E. Martin factory and branded as such on the back. Many of the instruments from this manufacturing process and time period lack a paper inside giving an accurate date, model or maker. The branding on the back is from the factory and was likely from their higher end models. This is believed to be a stradivarius copy from the time with a narrower body and width to give a larger projecting sound. It is currently strung with Helicore.
