Catalinbread Echorec Binson-style Delay Pedal

The original Binson Echorec was simply too iconic not to revisit—but it had to be done right. The goal was to capture everything that made the original unit so inspiring and bring it into a compact, pedalboard-friendly format without losing its character.

Rather than just recreate it, this version expands on the original concept. Along with preserving the rich, musical qualities of the classic Echorec, it introduces extended functionality that the original design only hinted at. Most notably, you get variable delay time—going beyond the original ~300ms limit—while retaining the signature four playback head configuration.

With that extended range, the rhythmic possibilities of those multi-head combinations really open up, allowing for more expressive, evolving delay patterns that go far beyond what the original unit could achieve.
