Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar

The Squier FSR Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar combines unmistakable offset style, vintage-inspired tone, and smooth modern playability in a standout Purple Metallic finish. Built with a poplar body and finished in gloss polyurethane, this Jaguar captures the classic feel of the original while adding eye-catching custom-shop-inspired looks with its 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and nickel hardware.

Equipped with dual Fender-Designed alnico single-coil pickups, this Jaguar delivers the bright, punchy, and articulate tones the model is known for. From jangly clean rhythms to cutting lead sounds, the specially voiced rhythm and lead circuit controls offer a wide range of tonal flexibility. Traditional Jaguar switching includes dedicated rhythm and lead circuit volume and tone controls, pickup on/off switches, and a tone circuit switch for dialing in classic offset sounds.

The short 24" scale length gives the guitar a slinky, comfortable playing feel that makes bends and chords effortless, while the slim “C”-shaped maple neck and 9.5” radius Indian laurel fingerboard provide a smooth and modern playing experience. Narrow tall frets, a bone nut, and vintage-style tuning machines round out a setup designed for excellent feel and dependable tuning stability.

A vintage-style floating vibrato system with a 6-saddle bridge stays true to the original Jaguar design, offering expressive vibrato effects and classic behind-the-bridge resonance. Finished with pearloid dot inlays, a tinted gloss urethane neck finish, and period-correct styling throughout, this Classic Vibe Jaguar delivers authentic vintage character with the reliability and playability modern players expect.

This Classic Vibe Jaguar is in very good condition. Minimal fret wear. There are scratches from normal playing wear as well as a few dings. Please note: there are some dings on the back of the neck that have been filled in by our repair shop and made smooth.
