The Larrivée D-03 is a no-nonsense dreadnought built for players who value balance, clarity, and reliability above all else. With its classic spruce and mahogany tonewood pairing, the D-03 delivers a focused low end, clear highs, and a strong, present midrange—making it equally at home for flatpicking, strumming, or vocal accompaniment.

Larrivée’s build quality is evident throughout. The satin-finished mahogany neck feels smooth and broken-in right away, paired with an ebony fingerboard and bridge for a fast, articulate response. The comfortable 1-11/16" nut width and 16" radius make this a versatile fit for a wide range of playing styles, while the full dreadnought body provides the volume and headroom players expect.

Internally, Larrivée’s parabolic X-bracing helps the guitar speak with remarkable balance and consistency across the fretboard, avoiding the overly boomy or scooped tendencies of some dreadnoughts. The result is a guitar that records well, sits nicely in a mix, and responds dynamically to your touch.

Visually, the D-03 keeps things classic and understated with maple binding, a herringbone rosette, and clean multi-strip purfling—all wrapped in a satin finish that enhances resonance and keeps the instrument feeling natural.
