The Schecter Stiletto-5 Session blends modern playability, powerful active electronics, and sleek styling into a versatile 5-string bass built for serious performance. Crafted in South Korea, this bass features a swamp ash body with an aged natural satin finish that highlights the wood’s natural grain while keeping the overall feel smooth and comfortable.
Its 35” scale length provides excellent string tension and clarity on the low B string, while the maple neck and matching maple fingerboard deliver a fast, articulate response with plenty of snap and definition. The comfortable “C” neck profile, 24 narrow X-jumbo frets, and 12” radius make this bass equally at home laying down tight grooves, technical runs, or extended-range chord work. Ebony side block inlays add a clean, refined touch to the overall look.
Loaded with an EMG 40DC bridge pickup and EMG 40J neck pickup, the Stiletto-5 Session offers a huge range of tones — from deep, punchy lows to aggressive mids and crisp highs. The onboard 3-band EMG active EQ and blend control allow for precise tone shaping whether you’re in the studio, on stage, or rehearsing with the band. An 18-volt system provides increased headroom and clarity for a more dynamic response.
Additional features include a Schecter custom string-thru or top-load bridge for enhanced sustain and flexibility, Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, black hardware, metal knurled knobs, and Schecter tuners for reliable tuning stability. Strung with Ernie Ball Super Long Scale strings from the factory, the Stiletto-5 Session is a professional-grade bass designed to handle a wide range of musical styles with ease.
