Built around the classic rosewood and spruce tonewood pairing, this instrument offers the balance, clarity, and dynamic range that have made the 814ce one of Taylor’s most popular models — with a handful of premium upgrades that elevate both its sound and feel.

The Grand Auditorium body shape delivers exceptional versatility, making it equally at home with fingerstyle, flatpicking, or light strumming. A solid Sitka spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides produces a rich, articulate voice with strong low-end presence, clear highs, and excellent note separation. Taylor’s V-Class bracing further enhances sustain, volume, and intonation, creating a remarkably even response across the entire fingerboard.
