Dave Livermore Deep OM

This OM-style acoustic is built with a thoughtful, minimalist approach to materials and tone. The body pairs a Western Red Cedar top with East Indian Rosewood back and sides, a classic combination known for warmth, responsiveness, and rich harmonic depth. Flamed maple binding adds an elegant visual accent, complementing the instrument’s natural character.

The neck features a Spanish cedar, maple, and walnut five-piece laminate design, chosen for both stability and tonal integrity. Paua abalone inlays provide a refined, understated shimmer, while the custom rosette — crafted from carefully selected maple and rosewood off-cuts — reflects the builder’s attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.

Internally, the guitar utilizes proprietary X-bracing that has been Chladni tuned, a meticulous voicing process aimed at achieving exceptional balance, clarity, and responsiveness across the entire register. This careful tuning results in a lively, articulate instrument equally suited for nuanced fingerstyle and dynamic flatpicking.

A bone nut and saddle complete the build, contributing to strong sustain, precise intonation, and efficient energy transfer.
